I have small cavities on 3 of my teeth. It hurts a little sometimes when I eat something sweet. I brush my teeth twice a day (morning and night). I'm scared to go to a dentist as i'm afraid of injections. I just want to know is it possible to get rid of these cavities without going to the dentist. Please help.

Hello lybrate-user, nothing to worry about. Visit your dentist, you might probably have to get a x ray taken to see the extent of the cavity. If its superficial, filling will be done. If it's deep then root canal treatment should be done. As much as you wait, the cavity will keep increasing so visit a dentist as soon as you possible.

Hi. I can understand your fear but if there is a cavity and you feel sensitivity to sweet you should immediately visit your dentist as it may need rct and if not then atleast you can cure them with fillings. Dentistry is not that painful now adays so, visit you dentist and get the treatment because leaving it for long will surely convert them for root canal.

The more you delay the more tooth decay which indirectly will lead to pain and infection. Maybe if decay is less you may go for just filling which doesn’t need injection.

If cavity is caught at an early stage injections are usually not done. You may just get a filling done which requires no injection. At all.
