I am suffering from high fever (102-103 degrees) for the past two days with a lot of headache and body ache. The moment I eat something I mostly vomit it out. The fever always comes with chills. I have been taking paracetamol 650 mg but the temperature does not really recede as it comes down to around 100 only. As I had dengue last year the symptoms felt quite similar hence I got tested for dengue but the report came negative. The distinctive feature is that the moment I eat something I start burping a lot, the burping doesn't stop for minutes to come and ultimately I end up vomiting. Before the consent of fever which was two days ago. On the night of 23rd I had dal chawal for dinner but after an hour or two I started burping a lot. Which never happens generally. I don't have any problem with the throat. No cough. Runny nose. Sneezing etc. Hence I am hoping that it's not covid. Also my vomit has cough like mucus in it. Sometimes I vomit just cough. Thanking in anticipation!
