Hello lybrate-user the scar on the lip may be because of many reasons like because of nodules, trauma of the tooth, by biting also, r due to vitamin deficiency also you can take vitamin c substitute and oral gel rx- lymcee, orasore gel take a small amount of gel and place it on the scar and leave it tablet these r chewable so you can have one per day any time.

Hello lybrate-user, your scar may be a cause of either a lip bite while sleeping or a minor trauma or an allergic reaction. Usually if it is not paining you can leave it as it is as oral cavity tends to heal supremely well and faster than other area. If it is paining and causing you an issue you may use anti-ulcer gels it may provde you some relief. I would strongly suggest you to still visit a dentist for a check up just to be on safe side.
