I am 55 years old, I have a white patch lesion under my tongue from last 2 years, it is quite painful in morning after I wake up. I stopped using tobacco 7- 8 years ago. I am also diabetic. Doc suggested biopsy but I am afraid of it, kindly suggest any other useful method to cure this at home or with some oral medication.

Quit habits strictly. Seems like you have oral leukoplakia .advice biopsy as early as possible and medications after biopsy only. Various treatment modalities for oral leukoplakia have been reported, but there is currently no consensus on the most appropriate treatment the treatment modalities include change of lifestyle factors such as tobacco and alcohol intake, medication with retinoids or antimycotics, 13-cis-retenoic acid, carotenoids, vitamin c, e, natural agents (green tea) & non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents surgical excision, cryosurgery, laser evaporation or laser excision.
