Hello doctors, I am in my 23 week pregnant and have buttocks pains sometimes. I am taking calcium and iron tablets regularly. But still the pain is there. And when I have more pain I usually apply amruthanjan strong pain relief balm to buttocks. Can I know whether it is safe to my baby in the womb. Thank you.

There are several potential treatment options for buttocks pain during pregnancy. Some common treatments include: otc pain medications that are safe to use during pregnancy, hemorrhoid creams and ointments and prescription pain relievers for more severe pain. We can discuss it further over a call or video meeting to proceed for most appropriate treatment.
