My wife is 36 year and had a dvt at time of birth of first child. It is over 10 years now. However she has started getting pain in her calf muscles and upper thigh. I am not sure if it is linked to dvt or is it due to cold climate. She wears compression stockings but pain has been there for over 10 days now. Earlier it was in calif muscles area, now it is not in calf muscle but in front of leg above feet and thigh. She say she feel pain in nerve. Please advise.

Reduces muscle tension and helps relieve muscle pain and discomfort. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (also known as tens) is something which helps ease muscle pain and spasms. You can strengthen the muscles by doing tonification ie. Improving the tone of the muscles by adding either weight cuffs / sand bags which will help you to improve the strength of the muscles.
