If you mean that he is getting adequate disulfiram reaction with half tablets, then you can continue the same. But if not, please ask your doctor about increasing the dose.

Disulfiram is an anti deterrent agent and given to prevent an individual from taking alcohol as it can lead to serious problems. You need to discuss with your psychiatrist on alternate medications if the person wants to be a social drinker at the same time continue anti craving medications. Good luck.
