Hello doctor, I recently had my cbc test done and the result were a little disturbing. I had haemoglobin level of 9, but what was really scaring me was that monocyte level was 23% and eosinophil level was 24%. But the total count of wbc was in normal range. Now when I consulted my general physician, he advised me to take tablets to increase my haemoglobin level. When, I asked him about the monocyte and eosinophil, he told me that they were high because haemoglobin level was low. But on searching on internet, the reasons for high monocyte and eosinophil are scaring me. Kindly advise.
