During the summer I woke up and was stretching when it started to feel like my achilles tendon or somewhere around there was super stiff and tight. I thought I had to have torn something because it was terrible pain and I could not walk normal. My dad wrapped it up after about 8 hours of it hurting and soon after it went away literally in the blink of an eye. I had came to the conclusion it was just cramping. All was good until I severely sprained my ankle tumbling. Im a competitive cheerleader so I perform very hard skills that are very hard on my body. I have had a lot of ankle pains from previous sprains for many years, but nothing terrible at all. Anyways, my ankle finally started to feel better and back to normal so I started to slowly get back into things. I was just standing at practice and the same thing happened this did during the summer. I almost collapsed because the pain was so bad. My trainer also thought it was a cramp but started to feel that I strained my achilles. It took over a day but the pain weny from a 9 put of 10 to 0 in the blink of an eye. It happened again about a week ago but only lasted for 10 minutes. Now its happening again, and its been about 9 hours and it still has not gone away. Whenever it happens I try to stretch it out as best as I can but it usually goes away randomly. Also, unlike other achilles injuries, I can walk on my toes perfectly fine, but as soon as I put my heel down, it just feels as if something is tearing. I cannot walk normal and the more I hyper extend my foot the more it hurts. If anyone can please just give me an idea of whats going on or what to do anything would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Get treated with Ultrasonic therapy which would directly heal the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. Along with ultrasonic therapy, shortwave diathermy also can be given. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the Plantar Fascitis weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. You shall do contrast bath to relieve this pain. Contrast bath is nothing but keeping in one tub hot water (bearable heat) and in another tub cold water Ask your father to apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. If still the pain persists then it is better to keep TENS stimulation at one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics.
