I don?t know where my mind was when I made sweet-salty lemon water in a copper vessel and then drank it after 15 minutes. As soon as I drank the last drop I felt I drank something bitter and I thought one of the lemons must have gone bad, completely forgetting that I made it in a copper jug. Within 2?3 minutes I started feeling queasy, and soon dry heaves began first. Then, I had to self-induce vomit as it was an extremely bad feeling of retching. I kept on vomiting for 3?4 hours with gap in between till I didn't feel the need to vomit more. Meanwhile, I also experienced bad stomach ache like a churning pain and loose motions. I?m writing this answer as I?m feeling a bit better now after vomiting for so long, though my head is spinning. I searched for ways to avoid any copper toxicity that could have resulted from the blunder I committed and came across the best way is to vomit out as much as you can. Drank small quantities of water in between to avoid loss of too much water. The pain is still there in my stomach, but I suppose it will subside by tomorrow morning.
