I am 27 years old. I was diagnosed with moderate active ulcerative proctitis through colonoscopy in "may" month 2018. I was getting fresh blood and mucus in stool and stool frequency was 4 to 5 times a day. And now its 2 times a day in the morning. My gastro Dr. gave me masala o.d 1.2gm (mesalazine/mezalamine) for three times a day for three months and then 2 times for next 3 months and with that mesacol suppository in alternate months. Now it's been almost 5 months I m. On tablet Now I am not getting fresh blood in stool but slight blood n mucus can be seen in my Stool. I want to get healthy and fit as before so. please tell me the proper course and diet I am gonna stick to it completely.
