Hi. Get an X-ray done for the concerned tooth. X-ray would decide the condition. Whether it will go for normal filling or RCT. Generally Root Canal Treatment is not preferred for Wisdom tooth. If infection has reached to the pulp (nerve layer) of the tooth then it has to be extracted/ removed.

Yes ofcourse it is Decay. It can only be diagnosed by an xray by a dentist. And wisdom tooth is also saved by RCTs and very effectively but only by those dentists who have precision in their work Try to save it by RCTs as every tooth is valuable. Have a good health.

- Good evening! You may have cavity or reduced layers of normal teeth. Brush your teeth with Oral-B UltraSoft Tooth Brush in circular motion without applying much pressure. If there is cavity kindly consult a dentist and get filled. Thank you!
