I have had a recurring issue with boils on my buttock area, for the past 10 years and have scars as a result. The intensity and frequency of the boils has reduced over time, as I have seen 3 Dermatologists over this period and have taken a course of antibiotics in the last year and a course of Isotretinoin in the past 2 years. They occur around my period and now its roughly 1boil/month. This month is very bad, is it an immunity issue? I use betadine powder for when it bursts.
