My son is 6 year old and suffering from vitiligo for which UV therapy was given for 1 year. Presently it is under control but the discolored white patches is still there at some of the places. There is only one tiny new patch has comeup on the body after stopping of UV therapy. External ointments are being applied regularly. My question is shall I start the treatment again. And can I use small hand held UV lamp for treatment at home? Is there any medicine required to be taken?
