Please suggest. Can CT scan diagonals 100% correctly of hernias such as abdomen hernias and inguinal hernias. Or physical examination is the only source of diagnosis hernias in the body?

Physical examination is most important for initial diagnosis of hernia. CT scan is needed whem hernia is large and we need more informaion for anatomy and muscle mass. It is not absolute necessary.

CT may not be needed for all cases except when it is an incisional hernia. For other cases physical examination n ultrasound may be adequate.
