I have been suffering with cough and cold from several days. I met doctors and the cough was in control due to antibiotics given by her. But, 3 days ago, I felt a fever as well so my doctor suggested to do blood test and chest X-ray. I have been diagnosed with positive widal after test. The results are as below: S. PARATYPHI ANTIGENS Antigen AH - NO AGGLUTINATION - NIL Antigen BH - NO AGGLUTINATION - NIL Now, my doctor has given me below medicines: MAHACEF - PLUS as antibiotics NIMROS PLUS for fever PENZOLIN - D CLEANCHEST-LS for cough Anukof syrup for cough I am confused if I should continue with the medicine or get hospitalized. Please advise if these medicines are sufficient enough for treatment as the cough problem is very severe.
