Dear lybrate-user Please liberate your self first from thoughts of doing investigations unless called for by professional in medical fraternity. You have not mentioned the reason of doing 2D Echo more so I think you had been screened and found structurally (anatomically) a perfectly NORMAL Heart four years ago. If there hasn't been substantial changes that there has been in lifestyles I don't really suppose you need to do 2D Echo. Prevention from major Heart Diseases for you Maintain your ideal weight upto 55-60 kg Take plenty of raw salad in your diet. Do go for walk atleast 15 minutes daily. Do Serum Cholesterol & Triglycerides every 3 years for age 25 to 30 years, every 2 years for 30-40 years, every 1 year for 40-47 years and after that every six months beyond 50 years. Consult Dr. At regular intervals in the frequency mentioned above. By these measures I am sure you will keep your self away from Heart Diseases. Hopefully your questions is answered.
