Hello doctor, I was suffering from cold n cough doctor has given me injection named 'stemin' which is beta methadone sodium phosphate. When ever I was given such injection my both the legs start paining n it remains for two days n I did not get to sleep. What does this situation indicates? Is this medicines is not suitable for me.

Greetings lybrate-user! We welcome you to Lybrate. As for your query, Stemin, a betamethasone has antiallergic properties and is effective in cough & asthma too. Hence the chances of the betamethasone causing you pain in legs or sleeplessness are very minimal.
