Avoid Lomid 2 mg if there is blood in stool. If the loose motions are with blood in stool or it's dark or black in color and/or associated with pain in abdomen take him to a doctor. The patient may need proper antibiotic. If the patient is dehydrated due to 2-3 days loose motions he may need fluid management. ORS may help for restoration of fluids. If nausea is an associate symptom then intravenous fluid management by a doctor is must. Avoid excessive hot or cold beverages. Lomid makes patient drowsy hence take care for the same.
