Can use it, but why you want to use it that is important. These days craze for oats is it's fibre content hence weight loss. Any whole grain product has good fibre content, don't fall prey to media hype of oats product manufacturers. Keep your intentions clear. 1 Give oats only if your child likes it 2 continue other grains too, don't replace them by oats 3 don't go for fancy oats product, use it like other grains- buy raw or flour and use it to make roti/paratha etc.

Oats are good cereals containing digestible fibre ,proteins, vitE and, carbohydrates .By increasing intestine transit time it gives satiety. Only fat is to be mixed in the form of ghee or edible oils to make it complete food for your baby.
