A rare condition marked by the formation of tiny, skin-colored bumps on the surface of the skin is known as Lichen Nitidus. An abnormal inflammatory activity in skin cells causes this condition in a person. It is most commonly seen in children or young adults. People with other problems like eczema, Crohn's disease, tuberculosis and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis are at a greater risk of suffering from Lichen Nitidus.
HOW IS LICHEN NITIDUS DIAGNOSED?
Lichen Nitidus is otherwise harmless, causing no such complications or long term skin problems.
