Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis is a congenital disease that passes on from the parents to the offspring. It is a skin disease which is very rare in nature and is identified by the development of malignant skin and skin tumors. The disease can also cause eruptions of wart-like lesions that may occur anywhere on the outer surface of the skin. These signs usually tend to appear early during the infancy or the childhood stages and they tend to intensify later on.
HOW IS EPIDERMODYSPLASIA VERRUCIFORMIS DIAGNOSED?
Pertinent physical findings are limited to the skin and rarely occur on the mucosa(an internal skin membrane).
