Hi there are no symptoms for thyroid because it is a normal gland present is all of us, producing hormone thyroxine. Deficiency of this hormone causes hypothyroidism and excess causes hyperthyroidism. Of these hypothyroidism is more common. TSH 0.005 mU/L, is definitely suggestive of hyperactive thyroid.
Please let me know if you have any symptoms. The treatment for this condition has to be properly monitored. In this communiction we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no prescriptions are allowed. So it is essential for you to come in a private conversation with details like T3, T4 & TSH levels and symptoms. Then I will be able to guide specifically. Or else seek the advise...more

Hperthyroidism is a condition in which levels of TSH is low and T3 ,T4 is high then normal.
Symptoms of hyperthyroidism are as follows:-
anxiety
irritability
fatigue
hand tremors
increased or irregular heartbeat
difficulty sleeping
excessive sweating
diarrhea or frequent bowel movements
altered menstrual cycle

When on treatment for hypothyroidism with adequate dose of Levothyroxine TSh should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, to be free f rom all the symptoms of that condition. Hence, TSh 7.62 mU/l is high, the dose of thyroxine needs to be increased. Thanks.

TSH 10.3 mU/L, needs treatment with levothyroxine in proper dosage. Treatment hst be for the lifetime. With treatment you should maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms are in complete check. You will have to take the tablet in the early morning on empty stomach, nothing to be taken after that for at least 1 to 1 and half hour. You will have to avoid soy beans and soy containing products. Thanks.
