Tightness of chest may be due to cardiac disease, lung disease, disease of the ribcage or pleura or even due to Acid peptic dsorder. Since you have been examined by a doctor he must have ruled out most of the physical causes. So probably you problem is either due to APD or stress/anxiety. You need medicaiton and counselling. Dear Nupur,
At the age of 63 years, many medical illnesses need to be ruled out. Just MRI and CT normal are not enough. Fever is not a symptom of psychological disorder. May be feverish feeling. You have to inform about lot more details to diagnose.
