-Yes it is ok to eat quaker oats mixed with hot milk without cooking as they are already cleaned & processed before packaging
-cooking it for sometime will make it easier to digest .

NO RICE! Try switching to Chapathi, if not possible avoid eating rice for dinner atleast.
For breakfast you can eat instead of rice either Kellogs Special K or Muesli and if thats not possible drink a glass of milk with less or no sugar.
Drink green tea everyday.
Drink a lot of water right before meal, and do not drink water during or after meal (wait for half an hour).
Try working out atleast 3 times a week.
Ditch lift and take the stairs.
No napping in noon after lunch....more
