the thing you have experienced might be global transient amnesia where there will be loss of memory for a short term. It is a sudden, temporary episode of memory loss that cannot be attributed to any kind of neurological conditions like stroke, epilepsy etc.

Reduce Your Caffeine Intake. Write It Down. Chew Gum. Spend Time With Friends and Family. Laugh.

Hell Jamie, no worries ,there may be many factors like-stress,hormonal dis balance ,etc,but it can be sorted out very easily.just follow the following modification of at least 10 days-
1.do yoga and pranayam (nadi shodhan) daily
2.restricted nonveg,eggs,milk and milk products,pulses,onion ,garlic,bakery,processed,packaged,fast food.
3.eat plenty of fruits,salad,green vegetables,coconut water,lemon water
4.take proper sleep
5.take bath before you sleep

Avoid crowding of brain. Focus on one thing or subject at one time. Read it repeatedly then move on to the next. If don't remember note down the deficiency and focus on that don't be in a hurry.

1.no alcohol
3. No smoking/ tobacco/drugs/ avoid pollution
4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice
5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily
7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night
8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil mass...more

if u dont have any option of getting enough night sleep you have to start practicing pranayama and meditation ifto %epair the nerve weakness caused by the disrupted biological clock
