Hello Sir, Your blood glucose levels are borderline high. With appropriate medication and proper diet and exercise I am fairly certain that the glucose would come down to normal range. Reducing your weight will help you a lot too to reduce your blood glucose levels. The diet that will help you both with weight loss and blood glucose control is as follows: - eat plenty of vegetables either as salads or in curry form (made with less oil or fat). Avoid potatoes, colocasia, yam etc. Limit your carbohydrates intake- like rice, roti, chapati etc. Use whole grains wherever possible like bajra, Raghu, different types of mullets, whole wheat Upma etc. Take a small bowl of dal everyday. You can eat 2 fruits (avoid mango, jack fruit, sapota etc). Can drink glass of milk, take curds/buttermilk. Avoid sweets, cakes, biscuits, junk food etc. Exercise at least 45 min/day, includes brisk walking, cycling, jogging, swimming etc. I cannot advise you which medication to take in open forum due to Lybrate rules. You can consult me privately for that as private consultation. Or you could see a good diabetologist where you live. I hope this has helped you Thank you.
