My daughter are 12 months completed weighs 7.5 kgs.she getting fever every month around 103 degrees for 3 to 4 days. She got rashes on mouth and on legs and hands and are itchy. We are worried about it. please help.

If the fever subsides by itself, signify viral illness. 15 episode of self limiting viral illness may be considered normal in this age. Although we have to rule out other cause as well like bacterial and occult infection like urine infection etc. General measures include scheduled vaccination, proper hygiene, plenty of water and fruits. Weight is low normal as per age. If oral thrush, pharyngitis occurs then periodic fevers like PFAFA syndrome must be ruled out.
