My derm told me to use benzac 2.5 before sleeping but I thought I might used it to much on a specific area and it turned somewhat black. Now I've very fair skin so that black spot just ruins it! Tell me what to do?

Creams should be always used in minimum quantity. Applying in excess can cause side effects and cause new problems as in your case. Usually the mentality is to use more cream so that the problem will go down faster but that is not the case. I hope you have understood it by now. You will need a kojic based cream to decrease the pigmented area.
