My mother has bipolar disorder mania from the age of 18 and still at 49. I'm at 27 and sister at 29. Is there any possibility of inheritance for us in any case sir.

There is around 10 - 15 % chance of inheritance if one of the parent is having bipolar disorder. You should know the early signs of this disorder and consult a psychiatrist if and when you find these sign in urself or your sister. If detected and treated early, the outcome of the treatment is better.

There is, Both you and sister have 5 to 15 times more chances of suffering from BPD, compared with people with non-affected parents. But dont worry there are significant chances of not suffering too. Have a stress free happy life and make sure both of u get sleep for 8 hours a day
