I have cold cough all the time in winter. What should I do? And my nose is also blocked.

The nose produces more secretions(mucus) in cold season. These secretions cause blocking of nose and you get cough when the secretions pass into your mouth from the back of the nose. Try steam inhalations two to three times a day. Also, increase your water intake as that will help in the secretions become thinner and less troublesome.

Hello lybrate-user Repeated episodes of cough or cold in winters suggest lowered immunity and sensitivity to the low temperatures in winter. You will need to take long term treatment to improve your general health so that your body can fight for itself and you won't fall ill so often. Apart from medicine eat a healthy diet with fruits n vegetables. Drink minimum 2 litres of water per day, exercise daily including breathing exercises to unblock your nose. Please take some steam inhalation also for relief and drink warm water to soothe the throat. In case you decide to take homeopathy please consult me.
