Spondylosis Diet- rice,wheat,moong (green gram), kulatha (horse gram), Til ( sesame), Cows ghee, Pawar,louki(white gourd), anar(pomegranate), garlic,milk Lifestyle-gentle massage with medicated oil,fomentation,rest Avoid- Diet -barley,chana,mutter,karela,supari,jamun,dried or frozen meat,stale food,pungent food,chilled water Lifestyle- stress,keeping late nights,curbing of natural urges, excessive sexual activity,exposure to dry n cold air Care - Appropriate rest necessary, avoid prolonged rest, always maintain a good posture, weight to be kept under control, avoid lifting heavy objects,repeated bending & twisting Indulge in moderate exercise or yogasanas under supervision, Avoid any jerks during exercise,or any physical activity, Avoid exercise if The pain increases with it, Normal activities to be increased gradually, Avoid extremely soft beds, Use appropriate pillow as well as bed to Balance The posture during sleep. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.
