I have been using tenormin (atenol) 50 mg for the last 15 years for hyper tension. I have been advised to change the medicine to supermet xl 50 (metoprolol). Can I follow the advice as I am finding it difficult to get tenormin in the market. However, I don't have any side effects due to tenormin so far. If I start using the new medicine, what would be the side effects.
