Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Anxiety is part of your body's defence mechanism. Anxiety is required for your body. Anxiety can be called as "fight or flight syndrome" Day to day anxiety helps you to prepare and plan and approach the task better. This is helpful. At the same time chronic anxiety and stress naturally keeps your blood pressure high and thereby affecting your heart health. Anxiety do not have any direct impact on your heart health. To avoid anxiety, learn to relax yourself. I suggest counseling, cognitive behavior therapy and relaxation therapy for you. Take care.
