Dear doctor, I have severe pain in my calf muscles under my knee area (both lower thigh and calf muscle). Especially the pain comes in night and affects my sleeping. This issue some time earlier shown to orthopedic doctor, after X ray they concluded it's related with general strain and suggested some pain killers and exercises. I do travel 4 hours a day for my work and my work involves both sitting and walking (50% each) Pl suggest may I need some urgent check up or its manageable with exercises. .etc. Thanks in advance.

Please do hamstring and calf stretching exercises followed by applicator ice packs to the painful area for 15 minutes. Perform them for 4 weeks for ideal results. Search for wall hamstring stretch, and calf stretch in Google images and you will get an idea about how to do it. Do them twice a day 5-5 each and then apply the ice pack.
