Actually,no. Till 28 or 30 weeks you can even lie down straight on your back.Nothing will happen.After that better to lie down on your left and for a brief period you can turn on your right and no need to get up and turn.No serious problem will happen
the idea of sleeping to left is to avoid compression of aorta and decrease blood supply to uterus. It doesn't matter how you turn, but right side should be avoided.
