I am 21 years old male looking for the sources of protein for building body tissues. Egg is considered a good source of protein. I would like to know about the protein content and the effect of the following egg diets (apart from boiled egg): egg bhurji, omelette, half fry or full fry, etc.

1 egg provides about 7 g protein. It can be had in various preparation forms but deep frying should be avoided on a frequent basis due to the high amount of oil involved. Other good quality protein sources are- milk, curd, lassi, buttermilk, chenna, whey water, fish, chicken. Soyabean, nutrella, tofu, sprouts, nuts, oilseeds, cereal-pulse combinations (atta-besan chila/rice khichri/dalia moong dal khichri/pongal/ dosa) should also be included.
