Hi Lybrate User. It is good that you are conscious of your health. Right now your weight is not high however your waist size has gone up. Since all our vital organs are in abdomen area, it is not good to have fat accumulating in the waist area. Ideally your waist should be = 0.5 of your height. That is for 68 inches your waist should be 34 inches. Best way to reduce is to do intensive cardio exercises / jogging/ swimming etc. Daily for 45 mins. + In addition do stretches and abs exercises for 15 minutes daily. Control your diet and cut off all puris, parathas, pakora, burgers, pizzas etc and increase Fruits, Water, Salads, Sprouts etc. That way you can get control of your waistline. All the best

Hello, Increasing tummy size indicated greater risk for metabolic disorders like diabetes, CVD's. Excess intake of sugars, alcohol consumption are two main reasons for belly fat. start having high fiber foods like vegetables and complex carbs.
