Hello, You need to definitely focus on calories but it means calories alone doesn't matter in weight management. Quality of your calories also matter. Example 1 Samoa and 100gm of vegetable stirfry might have same calories but stir fry is better option than Samosa. Healthy high calorie foods include milk, curd, egg, lean meat, beans, pulses.
