Hello! i'm currently down with the cold (the 2nd of back to back colds, and happened to noticed that my right tonsil was very swollen and my uvula was sticking/touching it as a result. I still can 'detach' the uvala from the tonsil when I cough or blow air but when I leave it alone it touches/sticks to the right tonsil. Currently other than a bad cough and runny blocked nose, my throat pain is only around a 3-4 out of 10, so i'm not in much pain. Went to consult my gp about the cold but he didn't mention anything about this when he checked my throat. I don't have any problems with breathing and swallowing right now. Is this normal when i'm sick? And once I recover, is it possible that the right tonsil will remain swollen?
