They say that the easiest way to remove negative thoughts is to fill it up with positive thoughts. If you focus on removing negative thoughts, it will come back even stronger! paradoxical intention! But if you focus on engaging in productive activities, challenging and satisfying activities and leave the negative thoughts alone, they will go away! no need to bother about them. Very useful technique! try it out.. Give more time for your hobbies; re-engage in old hobbies that you stopped, relive the earlier days, go out with friends, think of life as a short lived opportunity to be happy, not as a long burdensome journey to face problems!
