For a teenager it will be very wrong if you put her on some diet. She is growing and developing so you must see to it that she gets all the nutrition she needs. Let her eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise in the form of any sport she likes. Ie gymnastics or cycling or swimming will really be helpful. Switch off tv and computer while eating. Practice what you preach so be a role model for her and yourself try to follow discipline too. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. And right now we don't want that at all. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.
