I'm 18 year male, I want to ask you that is it ok to drink 7-8 liter of water per day?

Water intake should be optimum. Water helps to flush out the toxins from the body. Water intake also depends upon your activity level. Excess and forcefully adding water to your routine may cause electrolyte imbalance. A normal healthy person should take 3-4 litres water per day.

That is more than double the limit for males. Dairy products, fruits, vegetables also contain fluids. So overall consumption of fluids is counted. Too much water can cause overactive bladder. Kidney needs rest, too much water puts pressure on kidneys. Too much water dilutes hydrochloric acid, which then interferes with digestion. Try to reduce water by half litre a day. You will be able to control it over a period of time. Reduce consumption of soya and dry fruits as they cause excessive thirst. I wish you all the best.
