I'm 22 years old female, i've been diagnosed with social anxiety since 4 months ago, the doctor had prescribed me sertraline 25 mg and betacap 20 for 30 mins before performance. I had taken the medication for only 1 month as I had to move to another place and could no longer meet the doctor. My social anxiety was still not resolved so I used betacap 20 almost everyday as I had to get rid of my symptoms when going for work and it help me too (it's been a month) but I think that prolong used of it might cause severe side effects. So I want to know if it's really safe for me. Thank you.

Dear Babylion, If you benefit from betacap, please don't worry about safety. Betacap is a peripherally acting drug. So it may not have much side effect, especially at your young age of 22 years. Always it is better to consult the doctor at least once a month to balance benefit vs risk. Since you are young and your learning capacity is good, it is better to take therapy for next 6 months and get rid of betacap.
