I am 25 years old male. I had teeth problem from last 3 years back. So I got treatment (Root canal) while I was in my hometown (bangalore) at one the famous private polyclinic. Few weeks ago again I visited Dentist and she suggested to make root canal again for same teeth.. Even I got treatment (root canal) at saudi ARABIA. My questions are 1. Dr. every couple of years once I should get root canal? 2. I here thatvtreatment of saudi Arabian hospital is not good and it will be make side effects on future! Is this true? 3. What type of bless and tooth paste I should use?

Once a good rct is done in a tooth, it may remain for 10-15 yrs. But some times due to improper sealing tooth can get reinfected; at that time you need to get it retreated. If your tooth is symptomatic you should go for the re rct. Brush your teeth twice and floss also. Learn proper brushing and flossing technique by a dental surgeon.

If there is pain recurrence and xray report shows in complete treatment then re root canal should be done or else not required.

Root canal is done properly no need to do again if improperly done iu have to do back.

May need Re-root canal treatment only if the treated tooth is infected or treatment for adjacent teeth which might have been decayed. Otherwise root canal need not to be repeated again and again. It is the permanent solution for decayed tooth. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months. Changing the toothbrush alone donot keeps your teeth clean. Floss your teeth inter dentally once a day. Consume a healthy diet rich in vegetables and lean protein. Reduce your intake of sugary foods and beverages. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Drink plenty of fluoridated tap water. Drink not consume alcohol drinks. Don?t smoke.
