pcod or pcos is polycystic ovarian disease. This condition arises due to inability of the follicles to rupture and release the egg in uterine cavity to be fertilized. The unruptured egg form a cyst. If this process continues, it gives rise to many cysts in the ovary and hence the name" polycystic" ovarian disease. This condition is characterised by absence of menses, increase in weight, increase in blood sugar levels and darkening of skin. This condition is treatable and requires a thorough course of medications and regular exercise. You can perform yoga exercises which has proved to give good results in such conditions.
