Hi,. We got married 5 years ago. No kids yet. I am suffering from pcos. I am on metformin, folic acid, ovubless, ecosprin. I got aborted in the month of September 2015. Doctor removed it stating that there is no heartbeat found. And from the past four cycles I am on siphene 150mg but there is no positive result. This cycle also I took siphene 150 mg and the egg grown 20mm and I took hcg shot. Now I am in day 25 of my cycle. In my previous cycles I experienced sore breast before cycle but this month I don't have any such, is it. Sign of pregnancy? Or does it mean something else? Also suggest me something that improves the chances of conception.

The base of your problem lies in your hormones. Female menstrual cycle, pregnancy chances and sexual function all depend on a balanced hormonal cycle. In absence of good regulation, the cycle breaks leading to multiple seemingly different symptoms/problems, but they all are related. If your hormones are smooth, your egg growth would be good, hence your endometrial growth would be good and consequently regular menses. In absence of hormonal regulation, egg growth falters, causing small and immature follicles, i. E. Cysts to form. If the follicular stage is irregular, the next stage of uterine lining growth also hampers and hence bleeding may be irregular - delayed, early, frequent, prolonged - that's a variety. If eggs are are not growing right with the help of your hormones - you may be take injections/medicines to grow in size but they may lack quality and hence the chances of pregnancy again remaining slim. Any attempts at iui/ivf also fail despite having fertilised egg being implanted into the endometrium since the hormonal support required to retain a pregnancy for 9 months should be your own and that is your basic problem. So advise you to focus on regulating your hormones and not on pcod, menses, infertility as separate issues. They are all one. Kindly look into deeper causes of why and when you started with menstrual problems - any family, personal or work related stress that might be the root cause for hormonal disturbances.
