Best way to regularise periods is for weight loss. Even 5-10 percent weight loss will keep your cycles in check and it is the most natural way to regulate the hormone levels. Otherwise you need to take hormone containing pills.

Usually krimson doesn't cause weight gain. Your weight gain might be due to the underlying pcod. You can switch over to ovral l or yasmin for regularising periods but continue healthy lifestyle and diet to maintain your weight in the healthy range. You can also start taking apcod obis for the purpose.
