Hi I am 20 weeks pregnant. Yesterday went for anomaly scan. Doc said that single echogenic focus seen in left ventricle and bilateral renal pyelectasis measures 4 mm. Really worried about it. Down syndrome probability is low. Is it curable?

Pyelectasis is an increased collection of urine in part of the baby's kidney called the renal pelvis. Approximately 1 in every 40 pregnancies have pyelectasis, and this can be seen in one or both of the kidneys. Pyelectasis will resolve spontaneously more than 90 percent of the time. If the blockage is more severe, your baby may need follow-up care and possibly surgery after delivery. An echogenic intracardiac focus is a small bright spot seen within the region of the heart seen during an ultrasound examination. Most commonly found in the left ventricle of the developing heart, it is important to understand that it doesn't affect the functioning of the heart per se.
