I'm having cavity in my tooth from past few months due to which i'm unable to chew ,now it started paining. Doctor advised for rct.

If you want to save your tooth then only solution is rct it is painless only time you might have pain is just few seconds before injection but for that your dentist will put spray or gel to numb that area so that you will not feel needle. The whole procedure of rct should be under anesthesia and you must not have pain at any moment. Doctor will 1. Numb the area 2. Open the tooth and take out the infected nerve 3.clean the whole canal (like cleaning a blocked pipe) 4. Then when you ll have no pain, you are eating properly, doc will fill the root and tooth. After step 4 your tooth will be as new as before. Doc and you decide that you want to go for cap or not.
